Aluminium Double Glazed Windows and Doors In Surrey
This is a recent installation of Aluminium Double Glazing in Surrey. The Double Glazed Aluminium Windows and doors were installed to a lovely barn and stables conversion in Lingfield, Surrey.
The Double Glazed Aluminium windows and doors needed to be high security, low maintenance, have excellent thermal properties and be able to reduce noise pollution as they are under the Gatwick flightpath. The designs needed to be ‘country style’ being a barn conversion.
Colour Matched Aluminium Double Glazing In Surrey
We had to finish the windows and doors in a bespoke red/brown colour to complement the zinc material being used on the roof and fascia.
The project was first discussed in late summer and after much research and presenting various design options and colour samples we opted for the ALUK 70mm residential aluminium system. We chose to have all opening windows and the sashes we decided on were the chamfered finish detail. We included a 58mm false transom running through all the windows (purely for styling) and all the opening sashes meant that we had equal sight lines. ‘A’ rated double glazed units were supplied as standard with all of our installations.
This is a versatile and high performance window and door profile and we are thrilled with how well the colour and designs fit in with the style of the building. We look forward to seeing the completed building once it is finished with the Oak cladding.
There are several varieties of aluminium double glazing that suit different uses and applications and we were to use the ALUK Design studio www.alukdesignstudio.co.uk to showcase many of the available options to our client . If you world like to view a selection of ALUK aluminium products including their extensive range of aluminium double glazed windows , aluminium double glazed doors and aluminium bifold doors , we can arrange an appointment for you !
